UA Local Union 72 Plumbers are offered a five year state-of-the-art apprenticeship training program.

Upon completion each Plumber will have a minimum of 8500 hours of on the job training and 1,200 hours of classroom training. To become a journeyman plumber each apprentice must receive a State of Georgia Journeyman Plumbing License, backflow preventer certification, OSHA 30 certification as well as Medical Gas Brazing and Installation certification.

UA Local Union 72 Plumbing contractors utilizing our highly trained plumbers are qualified to install plumbing systems in everything from the tallest high rise on the skyline to multifamily dwellings. UA Local Union 72 plumbers have safely and successfully installed complex plumbing systems such as the Georgia Aquarium and are equally at home installing heavy industrial plumbing systems.
